WE ARE NOT ON LOCKDOWN AND WILL NOT BE CLOSING OUR DOORS

Dear valued Clients, please take note of the following points, taking effect Friday 27 March – 16 April.

  • PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL NOT BE CLOSING. VETERINARY HEALTH CARE IS CLASSIFIED AS AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS AND WILL BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN OPEN TO ATTEND TO OUR PETS.
  • OUR CONSULTING AND OPENING HOURS WILL REMAIN THE SAME.
  • IF YOUR PET NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION, THEN THEY NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION, DON’T PUT IT OFF!
  • We are here to assist you and your pets for any illness, pain and discomfort but will postpone any routine visits or procedures booked to reduce exposure to us and our families.
  • If you have any concerns please call and we will be happy to advise if your pet requires to be seen or not.
  • We will, however, STILL ALLOW PRIMARY PUPPY AND KITTEN VACCINATIONS in order to protect them against infectious diseases.
  • Please delay any adult pet vaccinations until after lockdown.
  • The health and well being of our staff will remain a priority and additional measures are being taken to ensure we provide a work environment that is safe and without risk to the health of our employees and their families.
  • To ensure this, please DO NOT VISIT US FOR ROUTINE PROCEDURES WHILST LOCKDOWN IS IN PLACE.
  • Clients who wish to collect food and/or medication from our pharmacy are advised to pre-order at least two days in advance and arrange for collection. This will help ensure that the stock is ready and waiting.
  • Please DO NOT visit the hospital if you are in quarantine with Covid-19, travelled internationally, experiencing respiratory symptoms such a fever and coughing or been in contact with a person infected by Covid-19. If it is an emergency and your pets require urgent medical attention, please make the necessary arrangements for someone who has not been in contact with you to bring your pet in for assistance.

  • Kindly use the hand sanitizer provided at reception when you come inside.
  • Please leave an acceptable distance between yourself and anyone else in the reception area, a minimum of 2 meters. Better still, kindly wait outside in your car until we are finished with the person being helped at the time. We will only allow 2 people or clients at a time in the waiting room to adhere to the 2 meter space requirement. Should you be the 3rd or 4th client waiting we will ask you to kindly wait outside or in your car. Please inform reception on your arrival to let us know you are here.
  • If you are showing flu-like symptoms, fever, dry cough, please stay at home. If you cannot organize for someone else to bring your pet in to see us, we can make a plan to see your pet.
  • We will make exceptions for home visits if necessary.
  • If you’re needing chronic medication or food delivered, chat to our friendly reception staff and we will try our best to assist you.
  • Your pets are still our priority during this trying time, please don’t neglect them.
